I got in to the office one Thursday morning and discovered I was being sent to Austin on Sunday morning for a week! Despite the short notice, the trip went fairly well and I got the next weekend to wander around and see the sights. The only real bad part was the horrid hire car that pretended it had greased tyres as soon as there was the slightest spot of rain. Which was a bit of a problem as the Saturday couldn't decide whether to be sunny or a torrential down pour! Sunday was glorious sunshine all day though :-).

The office was the highest building for miles so was the favourite resting spot for the local bird life. Including hawks and vultures!
