A day trip across the border in to neighbouring Switzerland.

We managed a brief wander around Zermat in the shadow of the Mattahorn, and a slightly less brief wander around the top of the Zermat mountain railway. The 'railway' really being a cable car that runs at 45° through the mountain side!

The army were wandering around just outside of the car park at the Simplon Pass. They had a communications truck thing covered with camouflage netting and apparently directing the rest. Unfortunately, it was this nice big green blob parked in the middle of a white concrete car park! Oops.
